Festival of the Aegean turns 15, celebrating with 17 concerts
Syros' historic Apollo Theater welcomes the International Festival of the Aegean for the annual event's 15th outing. Established in 2005 to bring together local and international choirs, classical symphony orchestras and opera singers, Peter Tiboris' heralded festival runs from July 14 to 26.

Greek-American conductor Peter Tiboris presents a grand musical evening with Warsaw's Pan-European Philharmonia and an international group of singers and musicians in great opera highlights on Monday, July 23. The soloists are Finnish-Canadian soprano Eilana Lappalainen, Italian tenor Gian Luca Pasolini and Swedish bass-baritone Carry Persson.
