Experts have been calling for days to respect measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and appeal to young people to respond to vaccination because that is the only way to bring the epidemic under control.

Most newly infected are in Belgrade - 22, and except in the capital, there is a double-digit number of confirmed cases - 19 in Cacak as well. In Smederevo there are 7, in Zajecar 6 new cases, and in Paracin 5.
There are 3 new cases in several cities - in Pozarevac, Aleksinac, Novi Sad and Dimitrovgrad.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabi says that the current epidemiological situation in Serbia is stable, but she expressed concern over the small number of young people who have been vaccinated.

After the session, Darija Kisi Tepavevi addressed the media, announcing the new decisions of the Crisis Staff.

Epidemiologist Dr Predrag Kon told RTS that vaccination is the only way out of the epidemic, but also that citizens should not be worried about checking antibodies, since that is only one of the indicators of immunity.

As of today, all citizens of the Republic of Serbia can download the Digital Green Certificate, i.e. the certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 and the results of various tests for the infectious disease SARS-CoV-2.

It should be reiterated that mass vaccination against coronavirus has been carried out in Serbia since the beginning of the year.

A total of 3.860.140 citizens have been tested in Serbia so far, and 6.271 have been tested in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the "Batut" Institute, 141 people are currently on respirators, while 4.497 patients are hospitalized.

It was said on Friday that there would be a new session of the Crisis Staff on Tuesday, but, to our knowledge, that will not happen.
The session was not scheduled at all, and the members of the Crisis Staff were verbally informed that there would be no meeting tomorrow.

On Saturday, everything will work until 12 o'clock, and until Monday, until 6 o'clock in the morning, only food, medicine and fuel stores will work, said the member of the Crisis Staff, Dr. Predrag Kon, and added that high schools will be transferred to online classes from Monday.
