UAE's Bin Zayed, Serbia's Vucic discuss ways of boosting cooperation
BELGRADE/DUBAI- Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic discussed in Belgrade on Wednesday "ways of boosting bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation as well as a range of regional and global issues of mutual concern," the Dubai-based English-language daily Gulf News reported.

So, the Danish-born Metallica drummer went and got a higher title on Monday (June 12) when he was officially dubbed a knight by the Danish crown prince. His bandmates congratulated Ulrich on the honor bestowed on him by Crown Prince Frederik, saying it was “not bad for a snot-nosed kid from Gentofte!”

17 people detained in operation against 'carriage gang' on Istanbul's Büyükada
Police have detained 17 suspects and seized 19 carriages as part of an operation against a "carriage gang" on the largest of Istanbul's Prince Islands on May 11.
The operation, the largest in the district's history, was conducted by police in the touristic destination of Büyükada, which is known for its historic carriages.

BELGRADE - US bassist/vocalist Nik West and her band will perform at the Nisville Jazz Festival on August 11.
Dubbed by the Eurythmics' Dave Stewart as the "female Lenny Kravitz", West, aged 25, has collaborated with some major names of the world's music scene, including Stewart, Prince, Marcus Miller and seven-time Grammy winner John Mayer.
