Haradinaj: Kosovo will get army in March; Vulin: No armed force in Kosovo except KFOR

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj says visa liberalization will be granted to Kosovo at the latest in March.

And he said the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) would be turned into an army by the same time.

In a statement to RTK, quoted by Beta on Friday, Haradinaj said that starting in March at the latest, "citizens of Kosovo will be able to freely move to the Schengen zone."

Speaking at the Pasuljanske Livade Range, where he attend the Serbian Army's Zima 2017 (Winter 2017) exercise, Vulin added that any other outcome would represent "a serious security problem for the whole region."

Reacting to Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's statement that "the Kosovo Army" would be established "by March," Vulin recalled that this was Haradinaj's "old wish."

Interpol Removed Haradinaj From Serbian Arrest Warrant

The Kosovar justice minister says Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has been removed from an international arrest warrant issued by Serbia.

"Today, I was informed that Interpol has removed 18 people from Kosovo that are wanted by Serbia and this list also includes the prime minister," Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri said on December 1.

Brussels agreement will not be renegotiated - Vulin

Vulin added that the Brussels agreement itself would not undergo any changes.

Vulin was visiting the town of Arandjelovac when he was asked by a journalist to comment on Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's statement that the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) - yet to be formed under the agreement - would be "a non-governmental organization."
