Queen Rania of Jordan visited with refugees during her visit at the Kara Tepe camp on the island of Lesvos on Monday. Queen Rania called for 'legal' paths into Europe for refugees, criticizing the EU's controversial deal with Turkey, which she said endangers lives. "The deep concern is that many of the refugees...will now start to seek more dangerous routes," she said.

On Lesvos, Queen Rania calls for 'legal' refugee path to Europe
Jordan's Queen Rania on Monday called for "legal" paths into Europe for refugees, criticizing the EUs controversial deal with Turkey which she said endangers lives.
"The deep concern is that many of the refugees...will now start to seek more dangerous routes," Queen Rania said in reference to the EU-Turkey deal agreed in March to stem the migration flow.

The Queen of Jordan, Rania is on the island of Lesvos where she visited two refugee families, one from Afghanistan and the other from Syria. Her plabe landed on the island of Lesvos according to schedule at 12.30 am.
Jordan's Queen Rania latest high-profile figure to visit Lesvos
Queen Rania of Jordan will visit Lesvos on Monday and meet with refugees, according to a statement by the country's royal press office on Saturday.
The queen, who will travel to the eastern Aegean island at the invitation of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), will visit the Kara Tepe camp which operates under the auspices of local authorities.
