Turkish agency provides food aid to Nigerian refugees

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (T?KA) has provided food to 168 refugee families fleeing Boko Haram violence in northern Nigeria, the agency was quoted by the state-run Anadolu Agency as saying on Feb. 29.     

T?KA is helping refugees in the Durumi camp outside the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

Turkey Never Sought to Interfere in Bulgaria's Politics - Ambassador

Turkish Ambassador to Sofia Suleyman Gokce has refuted claims that his country has pressured Bulgarian politicians into taking sides.

Ankara "has never asked any Bulgarian politician to take sides with regard to another political or publicly important figure in Bulgaria," he told private national bTV station on Saturday.

Hürriyet Daily News quotes security sources as telling private broadcaster CNNTürk there were two separate shellings, which were carried out in retaliation to attacks coming from YPG positions.

Syria Kurds' First Foreign Office to Be Opened in Moscow

A representative office of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) of Syria is to be opened in the Russian capital Moscow on Wednesday.

Russia's Foreign Ministry had earlier stated it could not allow such an office to appear in the country under current legislation, but an agreement was then reached that the structure would function as a non-profit organization.
