Nathaniel Copsey has been appointed as the new British Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria, succeeding Rob Dixon, announced the British Embassy. The seasoned diplomat, renowned for his extensive experience in European affairs, is set to assume his new role in August 2024.

Bulgarian PR expert and diplomat Maxim Behar was re-elected as a member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) established with the assistance of HRH Prince Charles of Wales.

Bulgaria's Prime Minister, Stefan Yanev, on May 21, met with the British Ambassador Rob Dixon. The conversation noted the very good level of bilateral relations and praised the maintenance of an active political dialogue with the UK, which is an important partner in Europe and an ally in NATO.

"Our joint efforts towards lifting restrictions on tourist travel between Bulgaria and the United Kingdom are very important", Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova at a meeting with Rob Dixon, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Sofia.
