COVID-19 death toll, up to three in Romania

A 70-year-old man, infected with the novel coronavirus, died Sunday night, the death toll reaching three, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reports. "It's about a 70-year-old man who was admitted to Piatra Neamt County Hospital. He tested positive on March 19 and transferred to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Iasi on March 20," the cited source says.

GCS: Unifarm concluded contract with producer in South Korea for 2,000,000 tests

GCS: 433 persons infected with novel coronavirus; two persons died

A number of 433 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus so far, and two persons died, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Sunday. Of them, 64 were declared cured and discharged, 47 in Timisoara, 11 in Bucharest, 3 in Craiova, one in Iasi and 2 in Constanta. Since the latest information broadcast, 66 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded.

GCS: Average age of patients with COVID-19 is 41; 69pct aged 19-50

Of the 367 persons diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, patients between 19 and 50 years old represent 69 pct of cases, those aged 51-70 represent 23 pct, and those aged over 70 - 3 pct, the Strategic Communication Group informed. Furthermore, 4 pct are minors, 51 pct are women, and 45 pct are men, according to the quoted source. The average age of the patients is 41.

A number of 367 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus so far, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Saturday. Of them, 52 were declared cured and discharged, 36 in Timisoara, 11 in Bucharest, 3 in Craiova, one in Iasi and one in Constanta. Since the latest information broadcast, 59 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded.

A number of 308 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus so far, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Friday. Of them, 31 were declared cured and discharged, 22 in Timisoara, 8 in Bucharest, one in Iasi. Since the latest information broadcast, 31 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded.  The newly confirmed patients are aged between 17 and 89.

260 persons reported infected so far with novel coronavirus in Romania

As many as 260 persons have been confirmed so far for being infected with the new coronavirus type, on Wednesday informed the Strategic Communication Group (GCS). "Until today, 18 March, on Romania's territory were confirmed 260 cases of persons infected with the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, of whom 19 are declared healed and have been discharged," the source says.
