Man, 23, arrested in Megara for alleged assault on partner’s 4-year-old son
A 23-year-old Roma has been arrested in Megara, western Attica, facing charges of manslaughter and grievous bodily harm in connection with the brutal assault on his partner's 4-year-old son. The mother, who reported the stepfather to the police for the assault on her child, asserted that the man targeted the minor "because he did not want [the child]."

Three charged with deliberate arson on Corfu
Three suspects, Roma men aged between 25 and 32, were arrested on Corfu Sunday in connection with a fire on the Ionian island, authorities say.
The fire burnt one hectare of farmland and threatened two homes and one warehouse before it was controlled.
The suspects are facing charges of deliberate arson. They are expected to appear before a prosecutor on Tuesday.

EUR 1.8 bn pledged for Serbia and Bosnia
BRUSSELS -- A total of EUR 1.846 billion worth of aid for Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina was raised at the donor conference in Brussels on Wednesday.
This was announced by European Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response Kristalina Georgieva at the conclusion of the conference.
