Cyprus probes citizens named over Russian sanctions evasion
Cyprus' government said Thursday it's looking into how a number of Cypriot nationals were included in a new round of US and UK sanctions targeting the financial networks of Russian oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Roman Abramovich who are close allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Abramovich to become Istanbulite
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who has been sanctioned by the U.K., European Union and Canada after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, has started making plans to settle in Istanbul, according to local media.

Russian oligarch visits Istanbul’s Bosphorus
Roman Abramovich, the Russian billionaire tycoon who often prefers Türkiye's southern parts for spending summer vacations, has visited Istanbul this time, touring the city's Bosphorus neighborhood, Bebek.
As per claims, the purpose of his visit to Istanbul is to buy a mansion on the Bosphorus.

Abramovich anchors superyachts worth $1.2 bln in Türkiye
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich - sanctioned by the U.K., European Union and Canada - has anchored two more superyachts in Turkish waters, bringing the total count to four.
According to Luxury Launches, a website publishing stories about the world's jet set, the 55-year-old tycoon brought 67-meter-long "Garcon" and 55-meter-long "Halo" to the Aegean coastal district of Göcek.
Russian oligarch’s yacht docks at Bodrum
A superyacht that belongs to Russian oligarch Alexander Grigoryevich Abramov has arrived in the Bodrum district in the western province of Muğla.
Abramov is the owner of one of Russia's largest steel companies. His net worth is estimated at $8 billion.

The Russian businessman of Azeri origin Farkhad Akhmedov visited the Aegean province of Muğla on holiday with his family on Aug. 13.
The 62-year-old businessman enjoyed the Bodrum bay from the Turkish resort.
Photographs of him swimming and diving in the sea have been captured. Akhmedov also took a sunbath with his wife Tatyana and their three children.
