BSP Demands Caretaker Govt, Snap Elections on March 26
After the Reformist Bloc and GERB announced that they will not form a government with the third mandate within the framework of the current Parliament, BSP demanded that President Rossen Plevneliev form a caretaker government.
Reformist Bloc To Decide on Mandate To Form Cabinet
The executive council of the Reformist Bloc will meet today in order to decide whether the bloc will take advantage of the mandate to form a government which President Rossen Plevneliev will hand over to the formation at 11:00 hrs.
This is the last chance to form a cabinet within the framework of the current parliament before the appointment of a caretaker government.
GERB Not To Support Govt With Reformist Bloc Mandate
"It is not right for the biggest political force to back a significantly smaller one," stated Deputy PM Rumyana Bachvarova in relation to the intention of President Rossen Plevneliev to hand a mandate for the forming of a government to the Reformist Bloc.
Bulgaria's President To Hand First Probe Mandate on Friday
President Rossen Plevneliev will hand the first probe mandate for the forming of a government to the largest parliamentary group - GERB. The procedure for handing mandates will start on Friday.
This became clear after the meeting of the Consultative Council for National Security which was convened by Plevneliev.

President Rossen Plevneliev will hold talks with the parliamentary groups of ABV and Ataka.
In accordance with the constitutional powers of the head of state, Plevneliev started consultations with the parliamentary groups in the 43rd Parliament after the resignation of the cabinet headed by Boyko Borisov.
