KRG says oil flow to Turkey interrupted after attacks

Crude oil export from the Kurdistan Region to Turkey's Ceyhan Port has been interrupted since Feb. 16 following attacks on the export pipeline near the southeastern province of ?anl?urfa in Turkey, said the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in a written statement on. HSBC expected to make announcement about future of Turkey unit soon

HSBC is expected to make an announcement about plans for its Turkey unit on Feb. 22, a source close to the matter has told Anadolu Agency. 

The bank, which had said earlier it would sell its Turkey unit, will reveal its plans about restructuring in the country, according to the source. 

Explosion rocks military convoy in Turkey's southeast, casualties reported

A large explosion hit a military convoy on Feb. 18 in the southeastern province of Diyarbak?r.

The blast occurred on the Diyarbak?r-Bingöl highway at around 9.40 a.m. during the passing of a military convoy.

Casualties have been reported after the attack, which was reportedly staged by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants after the detonation of a roadside bomb.

Blast hits Turkish cultural center in Sweden

An explosion severely damaged part of a building that housed a Turkish cultural association in a Stockholm suburb late on Feb. 17 but no one was injured, police said.

Police said all the windows of the center were blown out and that technicians were on site to investigate the cause. The center was located in the basement of a building in Fittja, in southwest Stockholm.
