Top Turkish, Greek officials hold talks in Turkey's capital
Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and Greece's migration and asylum minister met in the Turkish capital Ankara on Nov. 2.
Soylu and Notis Mitarakis as well as accompanying delegations met behind closed doors and discussed migration and the fight against terrorism along with security issues, the sources said.
Iconic Atatürk Cultural Center inaugurated on Republic Day
The Turkish president on Oct. 29 inaugurated the Atatürk Cultural Center in Turkey's metropolitan Istanbul.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on the 98th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said: "We are striving to repay our debt to the founders of our republic by setting out our 2023 goals and working day and night to achieve them."
Grain yield in Turkey at risk due to drought: Experts
A forecast by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has raised concerns on an imminent decline in crop production across the country due to drought.
The data obtained show that the output of cereal products will decrease by 15 percent this year compared to last year and will be around 31.6 million tons.
Turkey, Kyrgyzstan to sign security deal: Minister
Turkey and Kyrgyzstan will sign an agreement on security cooperation "as soon as possible," Turkey's interior minister said on Oct. 24.

2 terrorists 'neutralized' in southeastern Turkey
Two terrorists were neutralized in southeastern Turkey, the country's interior minister said early on Oct. 24.
The terrorists "infiltrating" the border of Çukurca district of southeastern Hakkari province were "captured dead" in a land operation backed by an armed UAV of gendarmerie forces and close air support, Minister Süleyman Soylu said on Twitter.

Iranian, Turkish interior ministers meet in Tehran
Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi hosted his Turkish counterpart Süleyman Soylu in the capital Tehran on Oct. 20.
In a statement following a bilateral meeting, Soylu wished Vahidi all the best in his new office.
"To date, we have had very successful cooperation on various issues," he said, adding many problems were solved.
