Open-air film nights in Ayvalık
Seyir Association (Eye Society- For all watching occasions), which organizes the Ayvalık International Film Festival every year, kicks off the season with the Open Air Film Night Series to be held between June 24 and July 2.
A series of 10 films selected from world festivals will be screened in the seaside garden of the New Ayvalık Municipal Building (former Tax Office).

Storyboards for doomed 'Dune' film up for auction
It has entered film folklore as one of the great missed opportunities: the doomed 1970s adaptation of "Dune" that was supposed to bring together Salvador Dali, Mick Jagger and Pink Floyd.
The project famously collapsed after four years of work by cult Franco-Chilean director Alejandro Jodorowsky, but now his storyboards are going up for auction in Paris on Nov. 22.

Ara Güler's works to be exhibited next month
A virtual exhibition is set to present scores of works by Ara Güler, a renowned Turkish photographer who passed away in 2018.
The Ara Güler Universal Virtual Exhibition will open for art aficionados on Dec. 16 and a total of 180 photographs will be exhibited.

Sofia Art Gallery Opens First 3D Exhibition of Chagall and Dali
The first virtual 3D exhibition opens today the Sofia gallery Oborishte 5. The exhibition is titled "The Bible Through the Eyes of Chagall and Dali". It includes 20 colorful lithographs by Salvador Dali and Marc Chagall, some of them have not been shown before in Bulgaria.

Istanbul's Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM) continues to open its rich content from past exhibitions on its digital channels. Now the museum presents the exhibition "A Surrealist: Salvador Dali," which was held between Sept. 20, 2008 and Feb. 1, 2009, online.

Ara Güler İzmir exhibition goes online with Arkas
An exhibition by Turkey's celebrated late photographer Ara Güler on the western province of İzmir will be greeting its online audience with "merhaba," which means "hello" in Turkish and was one of his favorite words that he used throughout his life.
