Greek minister to join 5-way meeting in Cairo focusing on Libya

Against the backdrop of unfolding events in Libya, the foreign ministers of Greece, Cyprus and Egypt, Nikos Dendias, Nikos Christodoulides and Sameh Shoukry respectively, will on Wednesday hold a trilateral summit in Cairo with the participation of their French and Italian counterparts Jean-Yves Le Drian and Luigi Di Maio. 

Egypt’s FM calls Dendias over Turkish decision to deploy troops in Libya

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has contacted Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides on the telephone to discuss "the dangerous escalation on Turkey's part" with respect to Libya, as well as the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

Greek, Egyptian FMs urge Turkey to halt aggression

Dendias later said the two officials discussed Turkey's violation of Cyprus' sovereign rights, stressing that Ankara's illegal activities "jeopardize regional security." Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Melescanu discussed on Monday in Brussels with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on topics related to regional issues, as well as related to the future European Union - the League of Arab States (LAS) Summit, which will take place in Egypt between 24 and 25 February, the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) informs.

President Rumen Radev will Meet with the Foreign Minister of Egypt

President Rumen Radev will welcome Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

The visit also includes a meeting with Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva.

They will sign an agreement to set up a joint co-operation committee.
