Brnabic elected new Serbian parliament speaker
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament on Wednesday elected Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) deputy leader and now-former Serbian PM Ana Brnabic as its new speaker.
One hundred and fifty-three of 158 MPs in attendance voted in favour and five voted against.

Twitter Suspends Accounts of Serbian Ruling Party MPs, Officials
Twitter is reported to have suspended the accounts of at least 16 political figures in Serbia, all of them either members of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party or holders of senior state posts.

MP of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Vladimir Orlic was elected parliament speaker in an open ballot, with 154 votes in favor and 76 opposed, out of 230 MPs present.
"154 voted in favor, 76 opposed, while there were no abstentions," MP Vladeta Jankovi announced at 9:30 p.m. as the chairman of the constitutive session of the parliament.

"It is inadmissible to expose our citizens to a health risk. A gathering of 5.790 SNS supporters and about 64 supporters of the "Dveri" movement is being held about a hundred meters from here," he said, emphasizing that he did not state that in order to brag.
He said that we do not need counting, but unity.
Serbian MPs Vow to Continue Rival Hunger Strikes
The leader of the small far-right opposition Dveri movement, Bosko Obradovic, on Monday vowed to continue the hunger strike that he started on Sunday in front of parliament until the government negotiates with the opposition on a delay to elections due on June 21.

Opposition MPs Miladin Sevarlic and Dveri leader Bosko Obradovic began a hunger strike, and two SNS MPs, Aleksandar Martinovic and Sandra Bozic, joined in front of the National Assembly on Sunday.
