All-night battle on five fronts in Halkidiki after the storm
The fire brigade is fighting the fires that broke out in areas of Halkidiki after the summer storm.
Firefighters are on foot to bring under control the fires that broke out late in the afternoon in areas of Halkidiki.
According to the Fire Brigade, the most probable cause of the fires is the lightning that occurred during the bad weather that hit the area.
Turkey’s TAV takes over ops at Almaty Airport
Prominent Turkish airport operator TAV Airports has taken over operations at Almaty Airport, Kazakhstan's main and busiest aviation hub.
The airport's capacity will be doubled with a $200 million investment to build a new international terminal, the operator said in a statement on April 30.
The investment is planned to be completed in less than three years.

Turkey's TAV Construction has been awarded the project to build a passenger terminal at Bahrain International Airport, which is undergoing a $1.1 billion upgrade, along with the Dubai-listed Arabtec.
Located on a 220,000-square-meter area, the new terminal will increase airport capacity from 4 million to 14 million annually, said TAV in a written statement on Jan. 25.
Turkey's TAV tops airport construction worldwide
Turkey's TAV Construction has once again become the world's largest airport construction company in 2015 on the global list released by the Engineering News-Record (ENR), the company announced in a press release on Jan. 4.
The total contract value of the projects TAV Construction has undertaken so far has exceeded $17.2 billion.

Saudi firm to built $765 bln facility with TAV
Saudi Aerospace Engineering Industries plans to build a $ 765.33 million aircraft maintenance and repair facility in Jeddah in joint venture with Turkish TAV, the Saudi company has said in statement.
Saudi Aerospace Engineering said the 1 million square meter facility would do both civil and military work and be the largest such installation in the Middle East.

Turkey's TAV eyes over 100 million passengers this year
TAV Airports CEO Sani ?ener said the company has offered services to 96 million passengers last year and foresees closing this year at over 100 million passengers served.
TAV takes over the operation of Milas-Bodrum Airport
TAV Airports has said it will now operate the international terminal of Milas-Bodrum Airport, a major tourism destination in Turkey, in addition to its domestic terminal in a press release on Oct. 22.
As winner of the tender held last year for a bid amount of 717 million euros plus value-added taxes, TAV will operate Milas-Bodrum Airport until 2035.
