Uphill battle now for the Reds

Fenerbahce snatched home advantage away from Olympiakos on Friday with its win in Piraeus that has the best-of-five series tied 1-1 on the way to the Euroleague Final Four.

The Greek champion triumphed in Game 1 of the series on Wednesday thanks to a stunning second-half performance at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, winning 79-68 for 1-0.

Reds beat Baskonia and finish top of the Euroleague table

Olympiakos completed the regular season of the Euroleague with an 86-78 victory at home over Baskonia on Thursday that confirmed it has finished top of the table.

The Reds dominated the game at the Peace and Friendship Stadium from start to finish and gave their fans some spectacular plays as well as the joy of another win, the 24th in all 34 games.

Reds and Greens fail to meet expectations

Olympiakos missed the chance to clinch the top spot of the Euroleague table for the regular season, going down on Thursday at Red Star Belgrade, while Panathinaikos lost to visiting Alba Berlin in Athens on Friday.

Despite leading in the first half, Olympiakos went down 87-79 at Red Star Belgrade, but it's still tied with Real Madrid at the top of the table, with a 23-10 record.

Big night for Olympiakos against Real Madrid in Euroleague

Olympiakos recaptured the summit of the Euroleague table through an emphatic home win over hitherto leader Real Madrid on Friday. Panathinaikos, in turn, suffered one more defeat on the road on Thursday, this time at Virtus Bologna.

This was a night of triumph for Olympiakos at the Peace and Friendship Stadium as it defeated Real 73-60 in front of a capacity crowd.

Brave road win for the Reds, victory at last for the Greens

Both Olympiakos and Panathinaikos made up for their Tuesday losses with two-point victories in hard fought matches in the Euroleague on Thursday and Friday respectively.

The Reds scored their 12th win in 19 games, beating Virtus Bologna 85-83 in Italy despite fielding a rather depleted team.

Fenerbahçe Beko topple Olympiacos 76-71 in EuroLeague

Turkish basketball club Fenerbahçe Beko beat Greek opponents Olympiacos 76-71 in a March 26 matchup of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 31. 

Czech star Jan Vesely led Fenerbahçe Beko with 18 points at the Piraeus' Peace and Friendship Stadium.

Dyshawn Pierre added 15.

Olympiacos' French forward Livio Jean-Charles racked up 16 points to go along with eight rebounds.

Green hoopsters down the Reds by 11

Panathinaikos triumphed in Piraeus over Olympiakos on Friday, against the odds, with its 88-77 win also covering the Greens' deficit in the two teams' head-to-head in the Euroleague.

The Reds had won by seven in the first game between the two Greek rivals, but in the Friday game at the Peace and Friendship Stadium the Greens were the boss from start to finish.
