Yngve Engstrom, head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, told the conference that the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing system in Montenegro must be improved.

Montenegro's Agency for Electronic Communications, EKIP, said on Monday that there had interest from several foreign companies in entering the country's telecoms market, causing existing operators to express fears that their profits would be hit and the economic potential of the Montenegrin market reduced. 

A regional deal designed to slash pricey mobile roaming costs is under threat after the Montenegrin Administrative Court revoked the decision to cut roaming prices in Montenegro, following complaints by two major mobile operators, Telekom and Telenor.
