ISIL suspects in Ankara bombing case received training in Syria's Tel Abyad, secret witness says

Some of the suspects in the deadly Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) bomb attack in the capital Ankara two years ago received training in the Syrian border city of Tel Abyad for 40 days, according to a secret witness' testimony in the ongoing case's fifth hearing, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Sept. 25.

Top coup suspect says he followed orders of Turkish Chief of General Staff Akar

One of the top suspects in the key case on the July 2016 coup attempt, former Major General Mehmet Dişli, has said he was following the orders of Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar during events at the Akıncı Air Base, considered to be the command center of the coup. 

Deadly ISIL bomb attack suspect threatens families of victims in hearing in Ankara

A suspect in a case into a deadly Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) twin suicide bomb attack case has threatened the families of victims during a hearing held in the capital Ankara. 

Metin Akaltın, one of the suspects in the Oct. 10, 2015 ISIL attack case, wagged his finger at the families as a gesture of threat in the third hearing of the case on May 3.
