There is a shortage of nurses and assistant educators in kindergartens and nurseries in Sofia, warns Mayor Yordanka Fandakova. She attended the opening ceremony of the construction of a new kindergarten, an extension of the 60th kindergarten, in the "Vitosha" metropolitan district.

Reports of bombs have been received in about 10 schools in the Bulgarian capital, the Ministry of the Interior reported
The educational institutions are in the districts "Krasno Selo" and "Poduyane". DOTI teams have been dispatched to the site to inspect the buildings. Classes will continue at the discretion of the school principals.

Croatia Charges Rebel Serb Commander with War Crimes
Croatian police said on Thursday that they have charged an unnamed Serbian citizen, the former commander of the 7th Corps of the rebel Serb-run Army of the Republic of Serbian Krajina, with committing war crimes in today's Sibenik-Knin County from December 1992 to December 1993.
According to the police, the suspect is currently unavailable to the Croatian authorities.
Kosovo Village Remembers 106 Civilians Killed in 1999 War
Officials and local residents in Pastasel/Pusto Selo, a village in the Rahovec/Orahovac municipality, commemorated the 22nd anniversary on Wednesday of a massacre of 106 civilians during the Kosovo war in 1999.
