Emre Şener among composers in ‘200 Pieces’ project

Emre Şener is among the composers to take part in the '200 Pieces' project that will mark the bicentenary celebrations of the Royal Academy of Music in the U.K.

The Royal Academy of Music, one of the world's top five music schools, has commissioned 200 musicians to compose pieces to mark the occasion.

AKM to host Austrian soprano

As part of the 50th Istanbul Music Festival, Austrian soprano Anna Prohaska will take the stage at the Atatürk Culture Center (AKM) on June 9. At the concert, she will share the stage with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

The Goethe Institute in Sofia will steam live concerts of the Berlin Philharmonic, sources of the Institute said.

Out of hundreds of Goethe Institutes all over the planet, the one in Sofia is one of the very few, which is permitted to take part in this program.
