The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) presented on Sunday evening Team Romania for the Tokyo Olympic Games (July 23 - August 8) which includes 100 athletes - 45 women and 55 in men - who will be competing in 17 sports.

Romania sweeps nine gold medals at European Under-23 Rowing Championships
This year too Romania dominated the European Under-23 Rowing Championships in Ioannina - Greece, winning 9 gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the finals this Sunday. The girls' squads won 5 gold medals, and the boys 4.
Silver medal for Romania in Women's Double Sculls at 2019 World Rowing Championships
The team made up of Nicoleta-Ancuta Bodnar and Simona Geanina Radis won the silver medal on Sunday in the Women's Double Sculls (W2x) at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz Ottensheim (Austria). New Zealand took the gold medal in 06 min 47 sec 170/1000, Romania the silver in 06 min 48 sec 550/1000, and the Netherlands won the bronze medal in 06 min 49 sec 220/1000.
