Coronavirus cases rise to 2,401 with death toll edging up to 121
Greek Health Ministry representative Sotiris Tsiodras on Tuesday announced 156 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total nationwide to 2,401.
He said 150 of these cases were registered among the residents of a refugee shelter in Kranidi, in the Peloponnese.
Another five infected people died, Tsiodras said, pushing the death toll 121.

Two more patients infected with Covid-19 died in Greece the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 119, according to press reports on Tuesday.
The first victim is a 75-year-old man with an underlying illness who died in Athens' Evangelismos Hospital early Monday morning.
The second is a 35-year-old man from the northern city of Thessaloniki who was otherwise healthy.

Coronavirus cases rise to 2,245 with death toll edging up to 116
Greek Health Ministry spokesman Sotiris Tsiodras on Monday announced 10 new coronavirus cases, raising the total in the country to 2,245.
Addressing a media conference, Tsiodras added that the death toll has risen to 116 with six more people in hospital passing away. The average age of the dead is 74 years, he said.
