Dialogues among political leaders at meeting on refugee
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras supported German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Germany’s policy during the meeting held on Friday among the political leaders saying “Germany support us, but it is Austria that does the ‘dirty work’”.
Opposition parties react on new social security system draft
Labour Minister Giorgos Katrougalos had successive meetings with the political leaders and then with President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
The draft bill on social security system will be sent to the institutions in the afternoon via email after Mr. Katrougalos’s meeting with Mr. Pavlopoulos.
Tsipras bursts out on social security issue
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras proposed at the political leaders’ meeting to form two separate committees where all parties would participate: a committee for social insurance and a committee for the revision of Constitution.
New Democracy interim president Giannis Plakiotakis, PASOK leader Fofi Genimmata and Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis rejected the proposal.

Political leaders’ meeting in progress
Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis, Pasok president Fofi Genimmata and Centrists Union leader Vasilis Leventis arrived first at Maximos Mansion for the scheduled leaders’ meeting set for Saturday at noon and chaired by the President of Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos following the invitation sent by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to the leaders of opposition parties.
