German spokesperson says Quartet-Greece deal in right direction
German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert said the deal between Greece and the EU institutions was on the right track, adding however, that the Chancellor would be in a position to comment in greater detail by the end of next week, after looking at the actual document.

Merkel to hold Greece crisis talks with German political leaders [Update]
German Chancellor Angela Merkel plans to inform her country?s political leaders about the growing crisis in Greece as preparations get under way to cope with the consequences of a possible exit from the euro.
