Hollywood actor Steven Seagal banned from Ukraine (photos-video)

Action movie legend Steven Seagal has been barred from Ukraine and marked a “threat to national security” over his cosy friendship with Vladimir Putin. The Hollywood veteran, banned by Ukranian’s security service, the SBU, is the second of Putin’s celebrity friends to be blacklisted by the former Soviet state – following French actor Gerard Depardieu.

Steven Seagal - a citizen of Russia

BELGRADE - Renowned Hollywood actor and martial arts master Steven Seagal has become a Russian citizen.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has decreed to grant US actor Steven Seagal Russian citizenship, a decree published on the Kremlin website said Thursday.

"Naturalize in Russia Seagal Steven Frederic, born April 10, 1952 in the United States of America," the decree reads.

Celebrating New Year's Eve in Serbia

Belgrade starts celebrating early this year. Starting on December 29, the city hosts four days of concerts in front the National Assembly.

On December 29, the band Miligram kicks off the festivities, followed by performances on December 30 by the band Van Gogh and Serbian pop star Zeljko Joksimovic.

Steven Seagal Performs In Crimea, Wears T-shirt With Putin's Face

Hollywood action actor and musician Steven Seagal and his blues band played a weekend concert in Crimea, reports the Russian wire agency RIA Novosti. 

He appeared at a bikers' party in Crimean city of Sevastopol, wearing a t-shirt with the face of Russian president Vladimir Putin, on a stage adorned with flags of Russia and the renegade Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).
