First Gay Parade in North Macedonia
A rainbow of colors filled the streets of Skopje on Saturday when North Macedonia held its first gay parade. Demonstrators in the largely conservative Balkan region have called for the cessation of discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (LGBT).

North Macedonia Capital Hosts First Pride Parade
The first-ever Pride Parade staged in the capital of North Macedonia started on Saturday at noon in the park in front of the national assembly in the centre of Skopje. After a stroll through the sun-drenched city streets, the marchers ended up in Skopje's main park.

Brussels’ Balkan Policy Resembles Bad Version of Eurovision
Many things have since changed: Eurovision has become a show in which both European and non-European countries, including Australia, compete. Yugoslavia is long gone; Croatia has joined the EU; Cutugno's Italy is meanwhile ruled by political elites who do not sing "Together" with much joy any longer, while "reunited Europe" is becoming increasingly divided.
Macedonia Police Foil Bid to Rig Eurovision Vote
Police in Macedonia are questioning four people in relation to attempts to rig the voting for Eurovision.
They include a music producer, a song writer and one of the owners of the company that organized the televoting at the Skopje song festival on Thursday.
