Greek pop singer Tamta has become famous for her extreme style choices over the years. She is not reluctant to change styles and experiment with her hair from time to time. Now that her vacation is over, she decided to get a haircut and a daring hairstyle and she is showing it off, by posting on Instagram a picture of her totally new afro look.

Many people, including fans, friends and colleagues, arrived at the church of Agios Spyridonas at Nea Ionia with tears in their eyes and holding flowers to say goodbye to famous Greek singer Pantelis Pantelidis who lost his life in a tragic car accident on Thursday.

Greek state broadcaster ERT is sifting through Eurovision hopefuls in an effort to take a step towards greater quality in its Eurovision entry for 2016 according to the wishes by ERT President Dionysis Tsaknis, a well-respected musician in his own right.

Greek public broadcaster ERT asked singer Maria Rizou to represent the country at the Eurovision song contest being held in Stockholm in 2016. It is rumored that her name was chosen after an internal panel at ERT decided that it had a non-commercial quality being sought for this year’s representation.

In the past, singer Tamta has often come close to entering the Eurovision Song Contest but her dreams of participating have never quite come to fruition. This year, however speculation is rife and the 2016 Eurovision could be the one where the singer from Georgia will represent Greece.
