After meeting the state secretaries of the Ministry of Health, the management of the Covid hospital in Batajnica informed that the situation is worse than ever.

"This is a turning point for the health system to survive. We are fighting and giving our best, but we are both physically and mentally exhausted," the media was told.

The first warning arrived: Batajnica is overcrowded

For days, most new patients are in Belgrade. There are more and more first examinations in COVID dispensaries and those in hospital treatment. An increase in the number of patients is also recorded in the hospital in Batajnica. According to Dr Adzic, there was a record number of admissions yesterday, 60 patients were hospitalized.

The director of that hospital, Tatjana Adi Vukievi, stated that she has a great honor to be the head of the largest COVID hospital. She also said that the first patients arrive in the afternoon. According to her, she and her team will do their best to defeat the coronavirus epidemic.
