Sofia Exarchou’s ‘Animal’ receives Best Feature Film at Thessaloniki Film Festival
In a warm, convivial and intimate atmosphere, the 64th Thessaloniki Film Festival awards were bestowed on Sunday afternoon in one of the port's scenic warehouses.
Four Golden Alexander Awards were bestowed as part of the four main competition categories.

Acclaimed composer Eleni Karaindrou, whose soaring melodies have graced the silver screen for some three decades and who has performed at prestigious events and venues around the world, did a single show last year at the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center just before the November lockdown.

Angelopoulos's 'Landscape in the Mist' voted among BBC's 100 greatest foreign-language films
"Landscape in the Mist" by late Greek filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos has been voted among BBC Culture's 100 greatest foreign-language films.
The 1988 film, a coming-of-age story about two young souls in search of their father, won the 1988 Venice Film Festival Silver Lion.

Paskaljevic wins Sofia award
