Some 200 people demonstrated outside the Palace of Justice in central Sofia on Monday evening against the arrests last week of Romanian and Bulgarian investigative reporters who were working on a story about the abuse of EU funds.

Sofia. All institutions dealing with road safety will be consolidated into a single unit with control functions. This transpired from the words of Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev at a press briefing in the Council of Ministers after a meeting with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Focus News Agency reports.

Sofia. By the end of the year, we will have an electronic register for people with disabilities, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told reporters. "Mr. Tomislav Donchev is ready with the information system. We will need up to BGN 1 million for it," Borissov said, quoted by Focus News Agency.
