Real Madrid advance to Spanish Super Cup final

Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid defeated Valencia 3-1 on Jan. 8 in the semifinals of the Spanish Super Cup.

Goals by Toni Kroos, Isco and Luka Modric powered the Madrid club to an easy victory over Valencia to move to the Spanish Super Cup final at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Dani Parejo was the only scorer for Valencia during the match.

First-half Kroos goal earns Real Madrid 1-0 win over Galatasaray

Real Madrid defeated Turkish giants Galatasaray 1-0 in Group A match at Türk Telekom Stadium in UEFA Champions League on Oct. 23.
Belgian star Hazard shone and it was a clever cut-back from him that provided Kroos with a shot on goal, and his snap-shot was deflected past goalkeeper Fernando Muslera in the 18th minute.

Germany run riot in record 7-1 defeat of Brazil

Germany crushed shambolic World Cup hosts Brazil with a record 7-1 defeat on July 8 to book their place in the tournament final in a match that shook football's superpower to the core.
