Employees of the newspaper "Trud" declare civil disobedience, said the editor-in-chief of the media Petyo Blaskov. The dissatisfaction is due to an action of the police in the editorial office of the publication. The premises are expected to be sealed.

 A presidential decree has been gazetted Thursday with the line-up of a new caretaker government that will prepare the November 14 elections for a new Parliament and the presidential elections to be held on the same day. Most ministers from the caretaker government of Prime Minister Stefan Yanev, including Yanev himself, keep their offices.

Electronic Media Council (SEM) member Ivelina Dimitrova, who is appointed from the president's quota, has resigned.

Bulgaria's caretaker Minister of Culture Professor Velislav Minekov and North Macedonia's Minister of Culture Professor Irena Stefoska met in Sofia. The preservation of cultural heritage is a priority for Bulgaria and North Macedonia and the two countries are to support each other in their dialogue with UNESCO, said Velislav Minekov and Irena Stefoska.

A specialized police unit will be set up to protect cultural heritage, be that movable or intangible, caretaker Minister of Culture Velislav Minekov told a briefing here on Tuesday.
The new unit will be subordinate to both the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Culture.

The caretaker cabinet was appointed after the failure by several political parties - outgoing ruling party GERB, There's Such a Nation and the Bulgarian Socialist Party - to muster a coalition after the inconclusive results of elections on April 4.

Maya Manolova and Nikolay Hadzhigenov signed an agreement to run together for the parliamentary elections next year. Thus, the partnership obetween the Stand up.BG platform and Poisonous Trio becomes official. During the event, two of the three informal organizers of the anti-government protests were absent - PR expert Armand Babikyan and sculptor Velislav Minekov.
