WASHINGTON - Serbian Minister of Economy Slobodan Cvetkovic met with the management team of the US National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Washington on Tuesday to discuss advancing cooperation and implementing the large number of projects the organisation was carrying out in Serbia.

WASHINGTON - Serbian Minister of Economy Slobodan Cvetkovic and Congress of Serbian-American Friendship President Vladimir Marinkovic met in Washington with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar to discuss advancing bilateral economic cooperation and creating an even better investment environment in Serbia.

Accompanied by MP Ivan Kostic, Obradovic entered the hall during the session, with a large banner against the Montenegrin authorities, and stood by the speaker's stand, causing disturbance that followed. Then, the President of the Serbian Assembly Maja Gojkovic adjourned the session and called on the MPs and security for peace and to remain calm.

According to "Vecernje novosti", Belgrade had decided to embark on a campaign in order to present real state of affairs on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija to the US public and to the US officials, including the monstrous crimes committed against the Serbs on Kosovo and Metohija by the KLA terrorists.

Drecun (SNS), who chairs the National Assembly's Committee on Kosovo and Metohija, told Prva TV on Monday that he would discuss holding a special session dedicated to Albanian crimes in Kosovo with the Assembly's president.

BELGRADE - Invitations to the 65th Prayer Breakfast in Washington have been sent to five addresses in Serbia, Politika reports.

According to Vecernje Novosti, they are Foreign Minister PM Ivica Dacic, Minister for Innovations Nenad Popovic, Deputy National Assembly President Vladimir Marinkovic, Ministry of Health State Secretary Meho Mahmutovic, and Danica and Vuk Draskovic.
