Anti-NATO Protesters Demand Referendum in Serbia

Two right-wing organisations, Zavetnici (Oath Keepers) and the Patriotic Movement of Serbia led by retired police general Bratislav Dikic, held an anti-NATO rally in King Milan Square in Nis on Friday, demanding a national referendum on NATO membership.

Some of the protesters carried a banner with the slogan "Resistance to the occupation".

Feasibility Study for Russian Gas Supplies to Greece, Italy to Be Made by End-2016 - Gazprom

Russia's Gazprom, Italy's Edison and Greece's DEPA will make a cost efficiency assessment of potential supplies of Russian gas under the Black Sea to Italy and Greece by the end of the year, the Chief Executive Officer of the Russian gas giant, Alexey Miller, has said. 

Russia 'Mulls Directing Part of New Gas Project to Bulgaria'

Pipes purchased for the abandoned South Stream project are "enough" to lay the first and part of the second line of IGTI Poseidon, Gazprom's newest venture possibly involving Bulgaria, a Russian daily has claimed.

Vedomosti quotes a source close to Gazprom as saying two legs, 16 billion cubic meters yearly each, could possibly "be built to Turkley... and to Bulgaria".

Assad tells Putin he will help with Syria ceasefire

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday morning that his government was ready to assist in implementing a ceasefire in Syria, which was proposed by Russia and U.S.A.

The agreement on ceasefire will take effect on February 27, and concerns the cessation of hostilities in Syria, excluding Islamic State and Nusra Front militants.
