Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will meet with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev during his upcoming three-day visit to Moscow.

Vucic will be in the Russian capital October 27-29, and, according to a Beta agency report on Thursday that is quoting "unofficial announcements" he should also be received by President Vladimir Putin.

Syrian President Bashar Assad visited Moscow on Tuesday evening where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sputnik is reporting.

"President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Assad arrived in Moscow on a working visit yesterday evening," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to TASS.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov held a meeting with a senior Turkish diplomat on Oct. 18 in Istanbul, Turkish diplomatic sources said.
