Janez Gorišek, a civil engineer who designed the giant hill in Planica in the late 1960s together with his older brother Vlado and is considered a pioneer of ski flying, has died aged 89.

Father sentenced to almost 4 years for raping daughter
Ljubljana – A 55-year-old man from Maribor will go to jail for three years and 10 months for having raped his daughter, who just turned 18 before the time of the crime in April 2021. Dnevnik and Večer newspapers reported on Saturday that the sentence is final, meaning it can no longer be appealed.
Kangler denies allegations of interference in police work
Ljubljana – The parliamentary commission investigating suspicion of political interference in the work of police interviewed Interior Ministry State Secretary Franc Kangler on Friday.
