Kosovo’s New Foreign Minister Calls for Sacking of Ambassadors
Glauk Konjufca said on Tuesday that he has decided to dismiss several heads of diplomatic missions from their position abroad, including Kosovo's ambassador to Washington, Vlora Citaku.
Konjufca said that Kosovo's representatives in Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Hungary, France, Montenegro and Switzerland should also be discharged from their positions.

The Kosovo Foreign Ministry on Friday promised to take action over false information that Jamaica had recognised the country's independence, which reportedly came from the ambassador in Washington.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci announced on social media Thursday that he has been informed by Kosovo Ambassador Vlora Chitaku that Jamaica has recognized Kosovo as sovereign and independent.
Jamaica denied recognizing Kosovo
Kosovo's President Hashim Thaci wrote on Twitter on Thursday that Ambassador Vlora Citaku has notified him that Jamaica had recognized Kosovo's independence.
However, Jamaican MFA Johnson-Smith re-tweeted Thaci's claim of recognition by her country with a short comment, clearly saying that "to date, Jamaica has not recognized Kosovo as an independent state".

Vlora Chitaku, the citizen of Serbia PHOTO
Namely, at a UN Security Council session on Kosovo held last night in New York, a document was presented - a birth certificate showing that Kosovo representative Vlora Citaku is a Serbian citizen.
The Serbian foreign minister also said that she had never asked for the annulment of Serbian citizenship.
