Explosions and fires ripped through an ammunition depot in Russian-occupied Crimea on Tuesday in the second suspected Ukrainian attack on the peninsula in just over a week, forcing the evacuation of more than 3,000 people.

Russia blamed the blasts in the village of Mayskoye on an "act of sabotage," without naming the perpetrators.

A "catastrophe" at the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in southern Ukraine would threaten the whole of Europe, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned on Monday.

The restart of negotiations would not contribute to the goals of the Ukrainian government, Mikhail Podolyak, assistant to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, told the Ukrainian "Babel", reports RT.

Russia has warned the US of severing relations if it is declared a sponsor of terrorism

Moscow has told Washington that diplomatic ties will be severely damaged and may even be severed if Russia is designated a "state sponsor of terrorism" by the US.
