As the number of new coronavirus cases in the Balkan region continues to grow, many governments have introduced tough measures aimed at preventing their spread.

Romania, which confirmed 30 cases as of Wednesday, on Tuesday said travellers from Spain, France and Germany would now be isolated on arrival.

Vucic will reiterate his position at the upcoming meeting that there will be no dialogue with Kosovo until Pristina completely abolishes taxes on goods from central Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, "Vecernje Novosti" reports.

"At the moment, Albanians do not want a compromise at all. In Serbia, the people who are in favor of the agreement with them are in such a minority that it is impossible to propose anything," President of Serbia said on a guest appearance last night on TV Kopernikus.

"People need not worry; we will be ready for both physical and technical security measures and measures that our army and police can take. I am ready to issue such an order at any time if Serbia's security is compromised", Serbian President said last night, on TV Kopernikus.

"We will take measures and ban the entry of people from certain countries or affected areas for a short period: from northern Italy, parts of Switzerland, South Korea and certain provinces of China, as well as from Iran ...", Vucic said.
Vucic said on Television Kopernikus that the state would take other necessary measures.

Following a visit to the Krusik defense industry plant in Valjevo, Vucic said that there was "no doubt" that in some EU countries there are "certain sympathies" for Kosovo's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
"There was sympathy for Kurti in a part of Serbian public until he started talking about Greater Albania," Vucic said.

However, he reminded Kosovo Prime Minister that everything that results from mere force is even less worth, as was the case with Kosovo's seizure from Serbia by NATO aggression.

"This is an important day for Serbia. I am proud of Barry Callebaut. Some would say 'why they even bother for a hundred jobs'. That means a hundred people who will live easier," Vucic said at the occasion of laying the foundation of the plant in Novi Sad.

"Dear citizens of Serbia, I just signed the decision to call parliamentary elections. They were called for April 26 this year. I wish everyone success," Vucic said.

It is not yet clear in what format they met, but earlier it was announced that the President of Serbia would be hosted by the U.S. National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien.
The two presidents are in the United States on separate visits.
