Priorities of EIB funding in Greece

Anti-flood projects, as well as the maintenance of schools and waste management in hospitals in combination with their energy upgrade are in the direct financing plans of the European Investment Bank (EIB) for Greece, its president Werner Hoyer revealed in an interview with Kathimerini that was published on Sunday.

Eurogroup: Support measures, assessment report and debt on the table

The 10th post-memorandum evaluation report of the Greek economy is expected to be presented during today's Eurogroup meeting in Luxembourg, which will be attended by Finance Minister Christos Staikouras.

Therefore, Greece is expected to take another step towards a positive direction, as another evaluation is successfully completed.

EIB finances the acceleration of local small-scale projects

Greece and the European Investment Bank on Monday signed agreements to accelerate priority investment in high-impact small-scale projects across Greece through financing of 200 million euros.

The latest contracts were signed during a visit to the EIB headquarters by Deputy Minister for Development Yiannis Tsakiris in Luxembourg on Monday.
