Government unveils measures against sports fan violence
The government announced a stringent plan to combat fan violence on Monday, declaring its determination to suppress deviant incidents to ensure "maximum possible assurance of public order and safety," as stated by government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis.

PM to hold presser on the economy on Monday
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will hold a live press conference on Monday on the "economy, growth and the labor market," spokesperson Yiannis Economou announced on Thursday.
The press briefing will start at 12.30 p.m.
Mitsotakis is in Davos, Switzerland, to take part, on Thursday and Friday, in the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Govt spox: Increases in heating allowance to support citizens
The Greek government spokesman, Mr Yiannis Economou, announced increases in the heating allowance and the expansion of its administration.
At the same time, he confirmed that a plan for cheaper travel is under consideration and that the relevant ministries are working on ideas beyond the usual ones to support citizens.
