All Parties in Bulgaria’s Parliament, except BSP and “Vazrazhdane” declared In Favor of Ukraine joining NATO

A project of a declaration in support of Ukraine's membership in NATO was submitted to the registry of the National Assembly by leading representatives of all parliamentary groups with the exception of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and "Vazrazhdane" (Revival).

At First Reading: The Bulgarian Anti-Corruption Commission will be Divided in Two

The Anti-Corruption Commission i.e. the Commission for Combating Corruption and Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property (KPKONPI) will be divided in two.
This was decided by the parliament, adopting in the first reading the Law on combating corruption among persons occupying high public positions.

Tensions after Last Night’s Protest over the Removal of Nikola Minchev

Protest in support of the removed chairman of the National Assembly Nikola Minchev last night in front of the parliament. The dissatisfaction was entitled "The Mafia removed  Nikola Minchev." Nikola Minchev, Kiril Petkov and representatives of BSP joined the protesters.

With Full Majority Parliament Called on Chief Prosecutor Geshev to Answer for Police Violence

Members of Parliament adopted a decision by an absolute majority, according to which the Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev must submit a report on the investigation of the police violence. The report must be submitted to parliament by Friday, August 20th.

ITN Accuse Stand up BG! We are Coming of Betrayal

"Stand up. BG! We're Coming!" betrayed the people who protested last summer by saying they would not support the "There is Such a People" cabinet. This is what Toshko Yordanov of  ITN said in an interview with bTV. He added that everything that was agreed during the talks with the protest parties was actually a great management program.

"There is Such a People" (ITN) will present a new draft cabinet very soon. If this cabinet is voted, it will work. If he is not supported, it is more likely to go to early elections, Toshko Yordanov, deputy leader of ITN party which narrowly won the July 11 early elections explained at a party press conference on July 16.
