Putin to meet Erdoğan in Turkey on Oct 10: Kremlin

President Vladimir Putin will meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Turkey on Oct. 10, the Kremlin said on Oct. 4, as the countries mend ties shattered by Ankara's shooting down of a Russian warplane last year.

"The visit will be on October 10," Interfax news agency quoted Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov as saying.

Putin, Obama to discuss Ukraine, Iraq soon: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Barack Obama will discuss the situation in Ukraine, Iraq and Syria "in the coming days," a top aide said on Friday.
      
Speaking to reporters, Putin's top foreign policy adviser, Yury Ushakov, did not provide further details about the upcoming phone call.
