Bosnia’s Constitutional Court Rejects Babic Appeal Over Prijedor Verdict
Bosnia's top court has rejected an appeal filed by Zoran Babic in September 2019 with the Constitutional Court against a verdict passed down in May that year in which he said his right to a fair defence had been violated.
Under the verdict, the Appeals Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced him to 13 years in prison for a "crime against humanity".
Vucic: I offered condolences because Babic failed to do it
Stanika Gligorijevic was killed in a car crash on the Doljevac tollbooth in a car accident caused by the driver of Corridors of Serbia Director Zoran Babic.
"It was my job to express condolences, as the one who should have done it, failed to do so several months after the accident", President Aleksandar Vucic said in the morning program of TV Pink.

The president first thanked Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang, who was also at the site today, noting that China's CCCC company had started to build a 1.7-kilometer bridge over the Kolubara River last May, and that this will be the longest bridge on the highway's stretch near Obrenovac.
