Government hopes to halve number of traffic accident victims

The Serbian government aims to "halve the number of people killed in traffic in Serbia by 2020," says Zorana Mihajlovic.

The deputy prime minister and minister of construction, transport and infrastructure made the statement during a meeting in Belgrade on Mondy with Executive Director of the European Traffic Safety Council Antonio Avenoso.

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic says Serbia has invested five million euros in Srebrenica so far.

Mihajlovic told RTS that "life is what is important for the future, and development of Srebrenica," while the government has not yet decided who will attend the commemoration in that city on July 11.

Zezelj Bridge to be completed by end-November

NOVI SAD - The construction of Novi Sad's Zezelj Bridge will be completed by end-November, when it will be opened to rail traffic, it was announced on Thursday.

EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, Serbian ministers Zorana Mihajlovic and Aleksandar Antic, Vojvodina PM Igor Mirovic and Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic toured the construction site.
