"Serbia ready to protect Serb people in Kosovo"
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that in the operation of a special unit of the National Liberation Army, former ROSU and FIT, 23 persons of Serb and Bosniak ethnicity have been arrested in the north of Kosovo-Metohija, mostly members of the Kosovo police.

Thaci calls elections in four municipalities in North
Hashim Thaci announced May 19 as the date for the vote.
Mayors of Northern Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Zvecan, resigned shortly after the Pristina government increased taxes on goods from central Serbia on November 21.

Serb goods from Kosovo big success in central Serbia stores
This has been announced by the state secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Branimir Stojanovic, who spoke for RTS on the occasion of the recent, for the first time organized placement of products from Kosovo and Metohija in central Serbia.

Serb mayors in north resign, cut communication with Pristina
At Tuesday's extraordinary meeting of the mayors of the municipalities of Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zubin Potok and Zvecan, a declaration was signed by which the leaders of these municipalities withdrew from their functions and severed any communication with the authorities in Pristina.
Kosovo: Serbs protests, columns of cars form, bells toll
According to reports, the protests are taking place on Friday in several Serb communities in Kosovo and Metohija.
The majority of citizens are at the protest in Rudare, where they carry the flags of Serbia and slogans inviting the international community to react. Some of them read, "EU, open your eyes," "Do not starve our children," "We don't want to go to ghettos."
US citizens in Kosovo warned about risk of terrorist attacks
"US citizens should exercise caution at holiday festivals and events around the Catholic and Orthodox Easter celebrations," said a security alert posted on the embassy's website, and added:
"Extremists continue to focus on tourist locations, shopping malls, bars, houses of worship, and other soft targets. Please exercise additional vigilance in these and similar locations."
