Turkish jets have joined the U.S.-led coalition in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and hit targets in Syria, the Foreign Ministry has announced.

More than two dozen suspects have been detained for alleged drug trafficking after hundreds of narcotics unit police officers raided multiple locations in Istanbul and the southern province of Adana.

The 22nd Golden Boll Film Festival, which will be held between Sept. 14 and 22 in the southern province of Adana, will have 15 films in contention for the main National Feature Film Competition.
