A civil engineer was found dead on Nov. 16 after a mosque's structural framework collapsed the previous day in the Şahinbey district here in southeastern Turkey.
Czech football player found hanged in his house in Turkey's southeast
Czech football player Frantisek Rajtoral was found dead on April 23 in his home in the southeastern province of Gaziantep, police said. He was 31.
Rajtoral, who played for the Czech national team and Turkish Super League club Gaziantepspor, did not attend a training earlier in the day, club chairman İbrahim Kızıl told reporters.
ISIL suicide bombers targeted Alevis, HDP events in Gaziantep: Interior Ministry
Two Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) suicide bombers, who were killed during two separate police raids in the border province of Gaziantep on Oct. 16, were planning to stage simultaneous armed and suicide attacks, particularly targeting events organized by Alevis and the provincial headquarters of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), the Interior Ministry has announced.
